DESCRIPTION
Brown Fused Alumina(also named as Brown Fused Aluminum Oxide) is produced from high quality Bauxite, Coal, Iron chip by being fused in an electric arc furnace at high temperature. It’s a tough, hard material (Mohs hardness 9) with strong self-sharpening, high strength, excellent wear and corrosion resistance; it has good thermal conductivity and outstanding chemical stability at very high temperature, which makes it an ideal abrasive & refractory materials used in many applications.
We manufacture BFA in tilting furnace or fixed furnace, and tilting furnace BFA has higher Al2O3 content, lower impurities and high-performance. BFA can be crushed and milled by barmac mill, ball mill or roller mill, and BFA milled by Barmac equipment is granted more round shape and higher bulk density. Refractory products made of it have higher density and strength, and also less opportunity to have cracks.
